Community Events


This is the 3rd annual event to bring awareness to veteran suicide and the organizations designed to bring this epidemic to an end.

Any amount you choose to donate towards this worthy cause will be greatly appreciated!

We are also seeking mile supporters who will sponsor the walk at the below levels:


$0.25 per mile which equals a total $5.50 donation 

$0.50 per mile which equals a total $11.00 donation

$1.00 per mile which equals a total $22.00 donation

$2.00 per mile which equals a total $44.00 donation

We are asking all who are interested in doing this walk with us to please do so virtually, as we need to keep everyone safe due to COVID-19 protocol this year (so we cannot gather as we normally do).Whether you do one mile or more than one, please share your pictures and videos with us so that we can see your awesome participation and smiles as you join us in this mission!

Care for Elderly and Disabled Veterans During COVID-19

The rapid outbreak of the COVID-19 (CoronaVirus) illness has left many of our senior veterans, veterans reliant on disability and those who are on fixed incomes in dire need of our assistance.

We answer this call to service proudly.

Please help us help those who have sacrificed so much for this country, by donating nonperishable food items and hygiene supplies.

Through a partnership with Carolina Farm Trust, the US Veterans Hall of Fame was able to provide lunch for 148 Atrium Health South first responders, along with guests of the Hospitality House of Charlotte through the Smoke & Go Catering Service food truck !

Through a partnership with Mellow Mushroom Pizza Co. the US Veterans Hall of Fame was able to feed 327 first responders, 68 veterans and 25 children of veterans!

To support the continued efforts of the USVHOF in our mission to make sure that veterans, first responders and communities have the food and medicine they need during COVID, please donate today!

We are also looking to collect nonperishable food items for our food pantry and hygiene supplies as natural disaster season is upon us! *Contact us for a list of items!
